How does persimmon soap work? +

Mature skin produces an oil-based compound called 2-nonenal, which causes "aging odor" — and because it's oil-based, regular soap and water can't break it down. Persimmon tannins bind to it and neutralise it during your normal wash, removing the odor at the source rather than masking it.

Is it safe for sensitive skin? +

Yes. The formula is free from harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrance, and the coconut and olive oils help support the skin barrier. It's designed specifically to be gentle on mature skin.

Will it dry out my skin? +
